That's really frightening
I'm glad they have a field all to themselves.
There aren't any round here by me, I think I've only seen them when I'm on my way up to mjm's. I can't remember which county they are in though

OK I own up it was me.
I was fed up watching them endlessly turn and was sick of the sight of them so I climbed way up on high and broke it off. The missing blade is now hanging on my wall which runs the whole length of my house back to front and hangs over each end at least by 20 foot each way as they are flipping bigger than you could imagine. Must go now as someone, he looks official, is knocking at my front door! Have they spotted it I wonder?
It was no UFO that's for sure.

So it wasn't an octopus shaped alien then Debbie?
I quite liked this story - it happened very near here...

What would an octopus shaped alien want with a turbine blade Chick?
Me you ask? Well it is so big it fills the gap that was left after next-door extended and where they never put the fence back as promised. Result access to my back garden is now blocked off and secure
I am not as daft as it first appeared now am I. Mind you to hire the big truck to bring it all the way to Kent has left my bank in a bit of a dip and debit not credit.

OK I own up it wasn't me but I do need a bit of fencing for the gap down the side of the house. My guess is it broke off due to a some fault caused by man's labour and someone has hidden the missing blade, for reasons not clear to me. Still I am sure the answer is blowing in the wind and possibly told on tomorrows news.

Somebody on the radio this morning suggested that it could have been caused by ice falling from a passing aeroplane. Sounds a lot more convincing than a giant octopus!

I actually like watching them. They remind me of ballet dancers gently turning in the breeze.
