Big Cats Photographed Officially
      #300250 - 07/01/2009 22:13

This evening we heard on our Local News, that in the area where we live, the Forest Rangers have finally got official photographs of 'Big Cat/s' roaming at night.

This has come about because the Forestry Commission had placed deep in the Forest some infra-red cameras,so that they could see the extent of how great in numbers the Deer had become, and whether or not there is a need to cull.

The photographs clearly showed also the outline of a Big Cat with its distinctive long tail.

OH had a close encounter a few years ago,as did quite a few others on various dates and times, but unfortunately did not have a camera to hand. Not that he was too interested in playing 'David Bailey' at the time. The only way was out and quickly.!!!

Stay indoors and Twiddle annemari! How exciting! Oh, not for the deer or anything it's attacking obviously

Edited to add - I've just noticed your new signature - I need to be more attentive - I still thought we were kissing santa

Hi annemari, this is good news!! I hope we get to see some piccys of the Big Cat on the internet. I saw a Big Black Cat in here in Devon a couple of years ago when I was walking our dog in the woods. I heard a sound in the bushes and when I turned round I saw a big black thing with a long tail as you’ve described. Unfortunately I didn't get to see its face because it ran away. And I'm lucky that my dog didn't see it or I don't know what would have happened. I reported the sighting to some 'Cat Watch' organisation and they told me that there’s never been a serious attack on a human being which was good to know because it put me off walking the dog for a while!!

Maybe now with the cameras we will see proof of these large cats, farmers, and dog walkers were always claiming to have sightings of them in Kent, but no proof.
