WHAT'S YOUR WEATHER FORECAST?
      #297689 - 05/01/2009 19:13

Just heard the local forecast on our regional news programme and it seems we can expect a possible minus nine tonight, and icy patches.
I hate winter weather and the cold, but also I have such terrible problems with ice, they told me again at the hospital today to try and stay indoors if it's icy............ but how on earth do I do that when I have to be at work by 7.30 tomorrow morning......... sorry if I am complaining I just can't wait for spring.

If the hospital are telling you Diz, I'd listen. You aren't the type to skive; making yourself poorly willnot help you or anyone else.

Guess it'll be too icy to walk round Salford Quays in the morning with the mutts, it nearly was this morning.

Minus 5 for us Dizee,
you take care out there, we went for a walk around 3.30pm and it was scary, we walked on the road most of the time.

Luckily I walk to work, wouldn't like to drive at 7am tomorrow.

They say you should switch on your electric blanket before you go to bed - so that's what I'm going to do!

Freezing all the way down South in Cornwall???!!! OMG!! We really are stuck in winter now!! Lived in SW Devon for years, and ice, frost and snow were big unknowns!
Here on the Dutch/Belgian border, being near the sea, we had about -5 or so overnight. Further inland it was -15!!!!
Will go and top up the bird food, and enlarge the waterhole in the icy pond so that they can drink..... Soooo bitter out there, despite the clear blue skies and sun.

Well ladies its the hottest its been for 50 years in Mauritius!!!, but the humidity is very high and you get exhausted just moving around, my cleaning lady is sick and i havn't done the ironing in ages have to change the sheets every couple of days what with the menopause and the heat. Tropical rain and thunderstorms most days interfers with satelite tv.
