Sick chick seeks sympathy!
      #297397 - 05/01/2009 15:27

My d went away for a few days after Christmas and came home on New Year's Day having sent the previous night throwing up (it was a strictly organised youth holiday and no alcohol was involved!) Since she came home, I have been obsessive about hand washing, particularly after touching anything of hers but it was no good. Winter vomiting virus has arrived -I spent all last night upchucking etc (too much info not needed) and today I feel really really ill. Ive tried reading a couple of posts but can't manage it. Please send me some get better thoughts!

Love to every one from your sad sick sorry for herself friend, Chickadee!

Sorry to hear you're poorly chick.

Same happened to me - Son had the winter vomitting thingy too, and despite following him around with a packet CIF antibacterial wipes, I succumbed too.

Now I have his cold, too! Hope you're feeling better soon. x

Oh Chickadee. Here comes loads of sympathy! Poor you. What a nasty thing to have! You just look after yourself and take it easy. Speaking as someone who has a phobia about anything to do with vomiting, this is nightmare stuff for me and I feel very sorry for you!
I read in the paper that you can catch this virus just by speaking to someone who has it, so that's why your handwashing etc didn't work!
Hope you feel much better very soon!
By the way, have just read Kate Atkinson's new book and loved it!

Think positive, Chick, this has got to bode well for the next weigh in!

Now get under that duvet, but keep a bucket nearby.

Love and hugs (( )), but from a distance .

I caught this virus off my granddaughters back in early November and its not very pleasant I have to say.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and hope it doesnt wing its way onto the forum!!

Get well soon,
