Book lovers please help me out....?
      #293586 - 01/01/2009 18:05

I wonder if anyone out there fancies doing a swap with me? I have just bought the January mag complete with free book. I didn't buy it for the book as it's not my cup of tea ('Always and Forever' by Cathy Kelly).

Upon opening the magazine I find I could have chosen one with 'The Safe House' by Nicci French - much more my sort of thing - I would love to read this book! Now I am kicking myself and wish I had seen the Nicci French one. If any of you ladies are in a similar position but in reverse i.e., you've got the Nicci French but you would prefer the Cathy Kelly, perhaps we could do a swap? I know it's a bit awkard if it involves postage etc but I'm sure we can find a way round it, perhaps via the book or supperclub route.

Alternatively, I don't mind waiting for someone to read the Nicci French before the swapping takes place!

Here's hoping! Happy 2009 anyway...

The mag isn't out near me yet either. I should get a choice of books (as it's my sister's shop) so I'll happily get the Nicci French book and do a swap with you Chelsea.

That is so kind of you both. BrandyQ is supperclubbin' with me in a couple of weeks so that might be the best option IF you can get it Brandy. Otherwise, I will get you to bail me out Patsy if thats ok?

Lovely!

No problem - my mag won't be in until next Thursday and if you're sorted by then I'll take pot luck with the book, well let my sister choose!

Hope you have a good night out ladies

Brandy, Patsy and Duckegg - thank you so much for your kind offers of help! I have now secured the book thanks to Brandy but it was so nice of you other ladies to try and help.

Happy Reading!
