For Today & To Cheer - For all who may be are ill or feeling down
      #290378 - 29/12/2008 09:15

Today I woke up to a glorious sunrise and just wanted to try and share with you the joy I had in seeing it so I took a few photos of it.
As you can see it didn't come out to well in these photos but I can assure you the colour was like a bright glowing orange /red ball and it was wonderful.
The sight of it did truly warm and lift my mood and I hope it does to for you today.

Thank dbverycherry.....that looks wonderful. Where we are we have hills to the front of us and in the mornings the sunrises are truly spectacular.....like you that put a smile on my face, a lift in my heart and give me a fantastic start to the day. Then I go downstairs and open my kitchen blind and watch "bath time" in my garden with the finches and woodpecker at "breakfast time". What a glorious start, great to be alive.
Sorry waffled on but this is what starts my day and god am I glad of it.
Thank you for sharing.........haven't learnt how to be put photos on yet. Have a great one of my collie that I want to share.....

how right you are dbverycherry. Loo said that the woman and home team would probably delete it as it was too big. So I tried to do it smaller.................and deleted it altogether...........don't despair I will get there just might take me a little time.................

I'm still about Thimble as I'm putting off doing the rest of my house chores and then a food shop. Still no viewable photo. May I suggest you start again from scratch

How uplifting, thank you. I got out of bed and got so busy with household chores that I hadn't really taken time to look outside. What a beautiful day. I miss having my dogs (temporarily with ex OH in Scotland)as I used to enjoy the early morning walks, sun breaking through, ground hard and crunchy under foot, frosty breath, I particularly loved the frosted spiders webs, real works of art.
Please persevere with photo Thimble, would love to see your dog.
