Potted Shrimps
      #284780 - 19/12/2008 21:45

I am cheating and serving Morecambe bay potted shrimps for starters on Christmas day. Not sure whether to serve with bread or toast, what do you all think.
Happy Christmas everyone

Hi Mrs S

I love shrimps - I'd serve them with toast for a starter, but I do like potted shrimp sandwiches made with either hovis of white bread cut really thinly.

I'm lucky in that I can buy fresh shrimps caught (fairly) locally and I 'pot' themself. Sometimes I even pick them too if they're not too small. I looked for some yesterday in the fishmongers but there weren't any.

I love potted shrimps and prefer to have them with toast.
