Twiddle's Twenty! Weds 17th
      #282025 - 17/12/2008 08:07

Morning Twiddlers! I'm baaaack!

I'm not even beginning to tackle Christmas in my Twiddles because I'm so far behind but if you're having guests to stay over let's get the guest room sorted this week. Maybe they are lucky enough to have a room of their own, a separate guest room or even if they're crashing on the sofa after one too many Babychams, let's make sure we have supplies in.

Fresh towels
Bottle of water
Magazines
Hot water bottle
New bar of soap - icky used soap looks...icky
Toothpaste
Coathangers, somewhere to hang up their party frock...

Plus whatever else you feel you can do to make their space welcoming!

Now, lay on the bed, look up...now catch those cobwebs before they see them

For those of you not being invaded, get the cobwebs sorted anyway

I wish I still had my ostrich feather duster for all those cobwebs, my chandelier looks like its on a film set of Great Expectations (Miss Havershams wedding breakfast scene)The mention of cobwebs did make me smile, my friends mother is Italian and she calls them 'Cow Webs'

Oooh, Mrs. Twiddle. I never thought of lying on the bed to see what they see. What a good idea. What an excellent twiddle. My sort of Twiddle in fact. I am off for a lie down right now.

I've only got two spare bedrooms and neither has a bed in it! One has the O/Hs office and the other has 2 chinchillas and a large fishtank. TheO/h is the messier.

Nice one Chilla - no bed in my spare room either. At the moment it's full of Christmas presents and computers. If I do have people to stay over there's a blow up bed in the loft. Cobwebs OK at the moment.

So many books...so little time!.

Loo, I get the feeling that maybe you're not giving this twiddle your "all!"
Mind you, I wouldn't mind a little lie down just now, but I'm at work so desk wouldn't be very comfy!

Bluebella, you may get some strange looks too, and wouldn't your computer be in the way?

I often get strange looks Loo!
I'll just shift the computer up a bit, I don't take up much room. Just have to be careful I don't fall off!
