Keeping Towels neatly (or not ?) in the Bathroom
      #280055 - 15/12/2008 08:49

Hello Ladies

Are you very particular about keeping your bath and hand towels very neat and evenly draped over the towel rail ?!!

Or are you more like me and just put them over and dont worry about them lol

Sue x

I am with you lillie... I seem to spend a lot of time redoing the towel in the cloakroom because other people use them and then just throw them back on anyhow. I like to see it nicely done so that if anyone should visit and use the little room it looks nice.

I thought I was the only one..............

I'm like the chap in that film where he has them over the rails exactly the same distance apart!! I think it's because the rest of the bathroom is waiting to be decorated and such a bloomin mess!

You are not on your own,JustJulesy,I always make sure the towels are tidy whenever I leave the bathroom,I think it helps that 9 time out of 10, I'm the last to use it in the morning.

I thought it was just me. I have to have the towels neatly arranged and folded just so. I even tidy and straighten them up at other peoples houses! Have also been tempted to do so in shops but have resisted.

Paddy,If I'm in the Linen Dept of any store,I always end up actually doing it,well,I mean,if I'm buying(and who knows if I am not!??) I have to check the quality, don't I??

I used to work in a store that sold Linens etc,so old habits die hard!!lol

Hi Lillie,

My towel could hang from the lightbulb for all I care, life is too short to worry about such things in our house.
I do have a heated towel rail in there but its hit and miss as to whether anyone puts the towel back on it so I have given up.

I refold towels too. It's amazing how just straightening the towels can really make the bathroom look tidy.

I'm with you Suzie - the other thing is that I don't think it's a good idea to fold them while they are still damp.

This morning when I left home one towel was hung on the shower screen, one on the towel rail and the bath towels were spread over the banisters to dry... By the time I get home all will be dry and ready for use again.
