Bournemouth/Poole , Cafe Shore report back.
      #276808 - 11/12/2008 23:18

Our last afternoon meeting of our first year as a Supper/Lunch/Coffee club was a special event.
We met at Cafe Shore ,overlooking Poole harbour, the setting was beautiful, the venue very chic, food delicious ,and the company perfect. As usual we were the last customers to leave the premises. It's difficult to believe that we began the year as strangers and are now friends.
Only a few of our Supper Club members are able to make the afternoon meetings which is such a pity .There are so many lovely places to spend an afternoon in our area and we would love to meet new friends so if you would like to join us in 2009 just get in touch. We will make you welcome,I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Happy Christmas everyone!

Dec,
Many thanks for your time and effort in getting our
S/L/C/Club up and running, it takes time and effort and patience! Moving into a new area and new life, is not so easy when your children have fled the nest, after being in a profesional working enviroment and decided to take the plunge for new things, it can be quite a shock to the system, even tho it's your wish!

So thank you Dec and ladies for introducing me to such pleasant company and venues.

For ladies who wonder and have not tried yet, give it a go
every thing is strange for a while!

Enjoy your Christmas and look forward to seeing you all in 2009

Twinkle x

Dec

We certainly did have a good time on Tuesday and the views were magnificent as was Cafe' Shore and the food ..... divine if like me you adore mussels. Congrats on finding such a good place for us to meet.

We must certainly continue to meet up again in 2009 as I know there are thousands of venues out there just waiting for us.

Other ladies please do try and make the lunch venues since we really enjoy ourselves and it is nice to make new friends in the area, especially if, like me, you have recently moved to Dorset from abroad.

Dec, and all the others, happy Christmas and a Merry New Year.

Fromrome
