      #273783 - 08/12/2008 22:20

this website has become so slow for me to use that it is now almost unusable. I also frequently get the message that 'this web page cannot be found' is it something to do with my PC or the website? can anyone help/advise me what to do in idiots terms as I am not an IT person?
sometimes it takes 10 minutes for one page to come up.
yours
very frustrated and missing out

It took ages to load on OH's laptop yesterday, when I wanted to show him Mangetout's dancing elves, using the url address. I have it saved under favourites and don't have any trouble.

i'm no expert on pc's but think the problem could be at your end, the pages take about 10 seconds maximum to load on my laptop. do you have problems with other web pages ?

Morning LadyGodiva

Normally my pc here at home works well and runs fast on the internet but the last few days it is extremely slow.
I personally think it is down to the many 10000s using the internet to do their Christmas shopping.
Thankfully I have done most of mine last month.

May be the W&H team are doing some updating and modifying of this forum site?
