Ilkley Supper Club
      #270857 - 04/12/2008 17:22

Hi ladies,
just an early notice for the next Ilkley supper club which will be at the White Hart at Pool on January 22nd. For those of you who haven't been there for a while, it's changed hands and is really nice now!!
Can you let me know if you'll be coming?
Hope you all have a great Christmas

Aquarius
Wasn't Ilkley the place in the film Calendar Girls? I'd love to come to your Supper Club - but a little far for me to drive! xx

Hi Tigerfeet,
The real Calendar Girls were a WI in a place called Rylstone not far from Skipton. But a variety of local places were used in the film, and you're right, one of them was Ilkley! It's a lovely place and well worth a visit. Come and see us!!

Hi Judy

Back on the forum for 1st time in ages! I plan to be at the supper club on 22nd.

Have just bought the January copy of W&H to read up on the Forumfest. At a glance couldn't spot you in the picture ......did I miss you?

Maxine x

I'm right at the very back Maxine. Spent too long in the bar and nearly missed the photo altogether!!
Look forward to seeing you in Jan. Have a great Christmas
