Glad that's alright.Hi Moco, great to hear your happy to join in, and people can post reviews for that months book, from the 1st of the month-so January's choice can be read whenever, and reviews posted from the 1st Jan.
Ginnie has suggestd a choice that we can start in July. Feel free anyone else to join in and suggest a title-and I'll keep adding and updating the list.

Hi Everyone, I have just finished one of the books I received from W and H.....I had 12 and have now read 7!! mainly due to having been on holiday and not able to log on to the Forum! The one I would recommend has been mentioned on othe threads recently and is Clarrisa Dixon Wrights biography called ... Spilling the Beans I found it un put downable! definately the best biography I have read in a long time....keeps you interested all the way through...also inspirational and very very funny.....so if you are compling a list for the later half of next year maybe we could include it. It is also a very easy read and ideal for next Summer when I m sure we will all be having a super sunny few months to laze in our deck chairs to make up for the last rainy one! Thank you so much for the next six months books Emerald and thank you for doing such a good job of co ordinating. It is much appreciated. Happy reading everyone

Some great choices here. I'm particularly looking forward to April and May as Kate Atkinson and Margaret Forster are two of my favourite authors but I haven't read either of these books.

Hi Annie----welcome to the eyes down club.
As to how it works, you just read the monthly selection and post your view on the book after the first of the month------So,I THINK,you need to read the january book on the list by(or ready to post after)January 1st.
If I'm wrong---and I certainly could be---someone else will soon correct me.Enjoy the selections and Happy Reading.Look forward to seeing your posts.

Hi Emerald
Could you please tell me, are these all new books or might I get these second hand? I am resolved to buy more books from charity shops this year.
Thanks Emerald.

Hi MT
You can get it second hand on Amazon for 1p at the moment (plus p&p of course).
I do recycle my books (the ones I can bear to part with) to a 2nd hand book stall at work. Oxfam though have the most amazing 2nd hand books! Whoops, sorry, off thread
