Women and Home in Australia
      #232166 - 26/10/2008 07:27

I moved to Australia 21 yrs ago from the UK and 'discovered'Women and Home about four years ago and really enjoying reading each treasured copy cover to cover. I say each treasured copy because there is no subscription to Australia, so luckily I am in the UK at least once a year, so friends keep back copies for me and if they visit they bring over the latest copy. I love the receipes and miss Trinnie and Suzannahs humour. I read about this forum and hope to get involved in some great conversations!!
Many thanks for a great relevant read.

Carol

Welcome Aussie!
This a great place to be ....lots of laughs, support and sisterhood.
Where in Australia are you? My middle son lives in Sydney and has been there 8 years...I have visited on three occasions and loved it!
Have fun and get posting
xx

Hello Aussie, Welcome to the Forum. I had a wonderful six week holiday in Australia in January 2007. Hope to return in September 2009.

Hi Aussie,
You can't subscribe easily, but you can buy the magazine from many newsagents. It usually works out to be about $12.95, I think, sometimes the airfreighted ones are dearer. I'm from Brisbane, hopefully we'll see more of you on the forum!

My parents and brother live on the Gold Coast in Paradise Point and Runaway Bay - I visit them once a year and did live in Oz for about 5 years, my son was born there (he's now 23). I wanted to get a subscription for my mother to Woman and Home but can't do so which is a shame.

Wellcome Aussie

I hope you have a lot of fun and help with our Forum. I recently went back to work for a few months and didn't manage to log on as much as I like to. Really did miss it.
What part of Australia are you in.

Went on a cruise to the French Polynesian Island and met a couple from New Zealand. I have promised that when my numbers come up I will visit them on my way to Australia which I am dying to see.

Merry Xmas. Do you have turkey and hot veggies over there for Xmas.

Patdock
