Hi- just logged on for the first time. I live on the Notts/Leics border - city centre is about 40 mins drive away - are you this side of Nottingham? Newly moved here and love walking.
Susan

I know this was posted almost a year ago - but I am wondering if there are any potential walkers in the North Nottinghamshire area? Not big on walking - but think it's about time I started!

Hi - logged on 1 year later and saw your message - which side of town are you? We are near Melton Mowbray and I love walking - I have a puppy so walk with her every day but she's not a great talker! Would be good to hear from you - Susan

Hi, I've just joined and this is my first attempt at one of these groups, and I'm not sure what I'm doing!
I live near Nottingham, in Beeston and I like walking. I do a bit already, usually on sundays with a group I've found in the Peak District, but with summer coming it would be nice to walk around in Nottingham in the evenings during the week

Hi, I need to find anyone willing to walk in Nottingham please. I'm signed up for the 20 mile Blenheim Palace walk but my walking partner is off to Oz for the month of April and I was wondering if anyone was doing any of the longer walks over the next month or so? Could I join you.

I can't believe this!! The very last posting and thought Nottingham was off the map.

I live in Wollaton - near to the park - but would love to meet up with like-minded people who can walk mid-week. I don't mind driving into Derbyshire or wherever, though Notts also has some lovely, underrated countryside. I'm a member of The Ramblers but they don't care for dogs and my Jack Russell adores walking. To be fair, it's not good having a dog in tow when there is a huge crowd.

I know the last post was in March but I haven't been on this forum long.

Love to hear from you.

ps. Belinda, I also have 'raised' BP. It would do us both good!

Hi,

I just set up a new post called

Coalville, Ashby, Swadlincote, Burton, Leicestershire & Notts

to try to draw together the various local groups and we are hoping to meet at Foremark Reservoir on Sunday 22nd June at 10:30.

I'm not trying to close this post down just join up several smaler groups into one larger one.

hope to see you next week

Penny
