Hello Alison. The Derbyshire Supper Club started in September 2007, with just 4 members. We have gained and lost a few but we now have about 8 regulars, and several more who join us when they can. We meet in restaurants and foodie pubs around Derbyshire, as our members come from all over the county. We meet once a month, usually on the third Wednesday at 7.30. This month is on Wednesday 19 August at Ashover – we thought as it was summer, we’d go further afield!

We also make occasional visits to the theatre, cinema and concerts. If you’d like to know more, please PM me. Lynn

Hi,
I relocated to the UK in 2005 coming from the Netherlands. I do miss my friends and family a lot and find it difficult to make new friends. As I love cooking and socializing, the article in het latest W&H got me really exited. Therefore anyone living in Devon interested starting a club with me?
Lea

Hi

I have found some postings about a supper club in Chichester, is it still running. I am about to move down to Chichester from the Reading area and I would love to make some new friends. I am a single 57 yr old with a youthful outlook on life. I have 2 grown up daughters and a 6 yr old grand daughter.
I will be looking out for a posting.

Thanks

Marion

I am "new" and have just followed the link to 'Supper Clubs' - I live in Ringwood and Bournemouth is an easy drive in.
Initially at least, I would like to go "out" to eat! So if you get something going you can add me.
I am now retired and absolutely loving the freedom after so many years at work.

Hi Ann

Sounds an excellent idea! Not yet retired but keen to meet new people of all ages. Please count me in! I'm in north Bournemouth - Parley area. Where and when do you suggest?

Caroline

Hello Caroline,
Should we start with an "after work time" meeting?
I'm having some problem getting to grips with this 'forum' system and came upon your message by chance! so will try to re-establish this link to see if you reply.
Generally, I'm pretty flexible as to where we could meet. Look forward to hearing from you.

I would be very interested in joining the Newbury supper club, but Mondays are difficult, I live in the triangle of Newbury, Reading and Basingstoke, once a month at the end of the week to wind down after a busy week I would love to meet others, is anybody out there living in the area who would be interested?

Hello im not new to woman and home as i have been buying it for years, its the most entertaining magazine i have picked up since my thirties.
I would be interested if anyone in the herefordshire area would like to join a supper club,i am in my early 50s but very active and after living in europe for ten years then in different cities in the uk and scotland, would like to extend my circle of friends,so by starting a supper club is a great way to start.
