Mine has not arrived yet either. This is my second month membership and also the second time that I'm not getting it before the shops. What is the point of having a subscription ???????!!!!!!!

Got my first subscription magazine and I am more than disappointed. All I got today was the small pocket size issue!!!
I think my eye sight would suffer from reading the terribly small print and peering at the pictures. Not sure how my doctors surgery folk are going to cope with it!
I have decided to give my subscription to them as I am down on W&H's high priced fashion features, articles on promoting self styled business women, size O models and still allowing illicit dating adverts in the back of a Woman and & Home magazine!!

I did do a very quick flick through the fashion suppilment and saw something I could afford and might well buy, the £10 M&S sunglasses. They were under the next cheapest of the three featured at £145!!

Phoned the Subscription office this morning and was told by a chap they will add an extra issue to my years subscription but I would have to go and buy the full sized May magazine as all the full large size ones had been now sent out!!

When I signed up for a years subscription of W&H last month or so ago it wasn't for the pocket size magazine

To top it all the cheeky chap I spoke to at the IPC Media publishers asked why I was finding the small size a problem, 'try reading it' I politely suggested!!!
As a man he should know that size matters!

Mine hasn't arrived either, and this is the third edition that has hit the shops before I've had it. What's going on here? I know we get the mag at a reduced price but as subscribers we're supposed to get it early. And I certainly don't want the 'travel size' edition - fine for those with perfect eyesight, but not for those of us who are 'of a certain age'!

As a matter of interest, does anyone from W&H read these comments? There were several relating to the April issue but no response from the W&H team. I find the subscriber helpline not very helpful either. Have emailed the Editor and await a reply!

My May edition arrived today. So I'm off to bed early and looking forward to reading it. A nice start to the weekend.

Well here in Wales delivery is fab, always earlier than the shops. Articles, yes some of the fashions are way out of my price range too..especially with all the talk about a credit crunch!, but I use the ideas and look around, they inspire me as do those who are trying to improve themselves, and the cooking tips, we have already cooked the bass it was perfect, even planning a trip to the Cotswolds as we can't travel abroad at the moment so found that article worthwhile too...don't tend to read many of the adverts sorry so can't comment on that, but on the whole at about 11p a day I would say its good value, better than a number of others and I'm still enjoying it a lots!

I'm not sure if anyone reads this, cos it's the same story every month, really. especially if you live in the greater wilds of the EU or further. I have commented a number of times that other magazines we subscribe to from the UK get here on the dot, but not W&H. amazon.co.uk post me stuff and it's here in less than 4 days. same with parcels sent from home - 3 or 4 days. I complained directly a couple of issues ago, but they just sent me another copy of that month's magazine.... so that was pointless.

only in W&H land is germany the other end of the planet. I get my magazine WEEKS after it's in the UK shops. it really is not good enough.
