I have just returned to the UK after 15 years living overseas. It was a move I hadn't planned. My husband assaulted me brutally and I left with my two year old son to come back to a country I hardly know now. I have been staying in London in the week with an older lady and it was here in her flat I rediscovered this magazine. I became addicted immediately devouring the articles on eco-environmental issues and everything to do with setting up a business after some other occupation. The articles on safe cosmetics and household products was superb reading. The magazine has helped me to accept with a happy heart the choice to stay here and make a new home for my son and myself knowing that there is life after an emotional roller coaster. There are still a lot of court battles to take on but each month I know w&h will take my mind off it all and give me more power to step forward and enjoy what is around me and give my son a life we wouldn't have had before. Thank you.

Hello there, I'm loving your name, I have a son named Jamal and his best friend is Kamal
I've lived in Oman for 32 years, I know what you mean about hardly knowing the Uk. I visit every summer and very often feel like a fish out of water.
I suspect we may have a few things in common, it would be nice to chat with you.

Thank you for your lovely reply. I work fulltime as an interior designer in London and am just about getting into the swing of things again here. Jamalikamali were two people who are buried in a beautiful garden in Delhi near to the house my in-laws own. Jamali was a sufi saint and Kamali may have been a scholar but no-one really knows. have to head home now but will hook up again when I can.

Thanks GEG! I am also a geg - there are not many of us around who are naturally geg! Thank you for your reply - I have posted again on the other area and will see how that goes too. Am just getting settled here and once I can get online in the evenings too I am sure a whole network will open up in front of my eyes. Looking forward to talking to you again.
