breast cancer care trek to south africa
      #62686 - 20/02/2008 16:57

Is anyone else signed up to do the trek in november? I have started my training now and have raised £1000 of the £3250 i need to go! I am very pleased.

In case anyone would like to sponsor me my webpage is www.justgiving.com/michelesmith

I cant wait to do the trek I've never done anything like this before and I've never been over seas before my husband would be so proud of me if he were here today!

Well done you !

Do you mind me asking how old you are ? A younger woman who has sadly lost her husband young or an older woman grabbing life by the horns ?
About 6 years ago I signed up to trek across Africa for MIND but injured both my ankles during training so didn't get to go ! I have signed up to do the 20 mile Haddon Hall walk in June for Breast Cancer Care which could be a springboard to go on to bigger things . Let me know how your fundraising is going .Good luck , Cath
