I really liked your article on Supperclubs in the last issue.

I've been trying to get one up an running in York for months without any success. I wondered if there was any way you could help promote this please.

Hi ValC

Do not worry - Wildflowerchild is on her way from Germany to York (see other posts) and I'm sure she will help get a supperclub up and running (she's a runner too!)

HOORAH!!!!!! yep, it'S gonna be running at the crack of dawn club. no shirkers or malingerers. also soon to be announced is the York Ladies Real Ale Drinking Club. if I am the only member.... well, I'll have to drink alone. Rollerblading Club could be a possibility. and if you and I end up going out for a meal together ValC.... well, that won't be so bad either!!! (not for me, that is).

The only people I know in york are the B&B lady, the estate agent and hubby's boss. a supperclub could be just the thing.....!

Hi Foxie and WFC

York Ladies Real Ale Drinking Club sounds good to me. As you'll possibly know from previous posts I'm partial to a glass or two, usually wine, but as long as it's the lighter beers I'm ok. OH is a real ale man so we'll have to get you on the York to Staley Bridge Ale Trail!

Rollerblading is definately a no-no though especially if combined with the real ale! Did try it (sober) when the kids where young but can't manage to stay upright.

The meal out is a must, hopefully by then we'll have a York group up and running - I've certainly tried to promote it enough.
