I live not too far from you, Catford, and wondered if you ever managed to find a supper group that is in your area? I would love to meet new people and this sounds like a great idea.

Hi trudyann

I'm in Bicester and retiring at the end of August so could do meet then. I also run the Oxford Supper Club which frequently meets in Bicester which isn't too far away.

Hi

I have just joined the forum and live in Worcester Park. I am interested in joining the supper club for ladies living in the area and would be grateful if somebody could contact me.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Regards.

Sandra

Cuppa and Cake group in our own areas [Re: Flossy2009]
      #425361 - 20/07/2009 15:54

Why don't we start a cuppa and cake group in our own areas. I will volunteer to start one in my area- Ayr in Ayrshire, S.W. Scotland. Take turns to host..Just bring a lively mind and a smile. It would be great for those of us who don't work.I am retired but all ages and travellers would be welcome. I also posted this under Food and Home and have had 19 replys from many places, with others keen on the idea.Lets do it.

Thank you

Ladies
this post doesn't get much traffic....much better to post seperately again out of this thread with the area in the title you are interested in ..people are more likely to see it...

Having just moved to the area (& being new to the W&H forums!) wondered if there were any supper or lunch clubs up and running in the Marlow/Henley area? Would prefer the 'eating out' variety as not that into cooking!

Hi
I live in Hythe, Hampshire... was hoping there would be a supper club or coffee afternoon or similar close to me here. Please let me know if there is anything like this around here and if you have space for one more girlie.
Thanks - Orsa
