Good morning ladies, what are you doing today?
      #502949 - 08/11/2009 00:15

Hope you are all feeling bright and breezy today. What plans have you got in mind?

I am having (hopefully) a little lie in. I am meeting my daughter and boyfriend for a nice sunday lunch somewhere and then a lazy sunday afternoon.....

Hello Caz

Wasn't sure I'd still be up this evening - had quite a busy day. I'd just made a milky drink and was going to go to bed but the lure of the forum was too great!!! Got a lot of paperwork to do at the moment (for the Charity I work for) and the end of the postal strike means that a lot more has just arrived. I had to sort that out, and do the usual things that need doing at weekends, including visiting my MIL this evening.

Tomorrow should be a bit less hectic - I've still got a report to type but it shouldn't take long, then it's off out into the country with the dogs. My OH has got the day off on Monday too, so we've got a long weekend. Might see if I can persuade him to come Christmas shopping with me - I'll see if I can tempt him into town with the promise of a hot chocolate and a danish pastry (for him, not me - I'll just have a black coffee and no danish....honest!!!)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone

Rosa x

Morning girls

Ironing is what I'm doing all day as I've put it off all week..

Think I may of beaten you in the burning stakes Cathy. I was cooking dinner the other day and everything was reeking of burnt something, kept looking at dinner and all fine, but it got worse and worse. Finally found an anhilated chiabatta loaf in the back of the oven. Whoops..............!!

I missed SCD last night, how could I when a coach was laid on !! I caught up on your psts though and assume Craig was voted out and Aleysha had been unkind?? I tried to watch it on computer, but it kept crashing so saw the first 3 dances 3 times and gave up.

Have a lovely day.

Carsma x

Good morning ladies. Just having my "fix" before I go and get ready.I'm meeting my sister who's coming up from York to go to the Living north Christmas Fair.

I posted about this craft and food extravaganza some time ago and it's here already It's a fantastic event at the Newcastle Racecourse. A day filled with lovely things to buy and to eat. Should buy C. presents but usually end up buying things for me

Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you're doing.

Good morning everyone !
Taking youngest daughter to a Remembrance Service at church - she is a Brownie and they were asked if they would like to go - only 3 said yes Whatever happened to Remembrance ?
Then its a little bit of revision for her this afternoon as they have some exams next week ( only mini ones though!) I'll catch up with ironing, make a fish pie for tea and try and gather up all the leaves that have fallen off the virginia creeper - though hopefully not all at the same time

Not a bad morning here today, we have little ares of pale blue sky above yonder ha ha.

Just enjoyed a nice breakfast, and we are now off for a walk, just in case the heavens might open later, dont want to get soaked again.

Hope you all enjoy a happy Sunday.

Morning Ladies

I've had a lovely lie in (rather than my usual gym visit). It's my birthday today, so I'm being taken out for lunch to a rather nice carvery near here, where for one day only I won't be watching what I eat!!

Slick x

I know what I SHOULD be doing - ironing.

Not going to though. Even though we have retired I still look upon the weekend as a chilling out, relaxing time.

May start the ironing tomorrow.

Going to watch the X Factor and Doc Martin tonight.

C Cathy. Xmas cards. Haven't thought about it yet.
