Scraggy wrinkled chest
      #486435 - 15/10/2009 00:50

Made a big mistake and sun burned my chest this summer. Now it is looking wrinkled. I am 60 and have never really burned before. Any ideas on treatments, lotions or potions.

As carsma said all I can think of is a good moisturiser too,but be careful the chest is not a good place to get sunburn in fact no place is,as it is really bad for causing skin cancers, and as we age our skin gets thinner and is more likely to burn quicker. Good luck with the smoothing.

Try Bio Oil. I find it really good for the decolletage, and legs, elbows and those bumpy bits at the top of the arms. Oh, and age spots which I've just started to get with sun exposure as well.
Love,
Teabag

I use Bio Oil too. Try and make sure you do it every day though. It's lovely and when I am using it continually I notice a difference-actually I notice more when I stop using it!!

Hi Newme, I live in a sunny climate and use a sun block on my chest daily. I have had too much sun in the past too and find that I can keep chest sags & wrinkles at bay by very gentle exfoliation and lot's of moisturiser morning and night after a bath or shower.
Never tan there as you get enough colour by just daily exposure, better to use an artificial tanning cream, it look good too.
I tried bio oil and found it good too but I can't buy it where I live.
