Hi Glitterqueen I put mine in the dishwasher and the vase or vases come out sparkling.

Hi Glitter

Put crushed eggshells in it and add water. Sterilising or denture tablets should work as well

I had read about denture tablets before but haven't tried it.

fill it half and half with white vinegar and water and leave it for a few hours before washing in hot soapy water. If the bottom needs a bit more cleaning, use white vinegar and a bottle brush or some grains of rice.

I have put cut glass in the dishwasher with no ill effect, just use a quick wash cycle and not too hot.

I use cold water and a dash of bleach. Fill to the top and leave overnight, wash out in hot soapy water. Or if it fits in the dishwasher.

white vinegar, denture tablets or bleach. A one off in the dishwasher is ok as long as its not crystal..which they do say shouldnt go into dishwashers.

Or of course if its not an expensive one M & S have some lovely shaped vases...all not too dear.

I use re-useable magic balls from Lakeland. They're mini-mini, copper coloured and work brilliantly within seconds. Just rinse and dry them and use again and again.
