Sorry ladies - I did hope to try and join you all but we are in the middle of redecorating our kitchen in readiness for weekend visitors -so had to stay to help OH finish off. Re-hang the curtains etc and generally clean up after him. Didn't get finished until 2pm and then had to go do some food shopping for meals for the weekend. Hope you all had a good meeting - I am really envious

Hi Bizibee, it was my first book club meeting, and after I tried to join the wrong group of women  (well I thought they looked promising) I found the Cheshire ladies (that makes them sound like they all came from Alderley Edge), some from North Wales like you, and several from the Wirral, like me, plus others, 8 of us altogether. Our next book is "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" by someone whose name I can't spell, Steig Larsson (?). Enjoy your visitors, and hope to see you at the next one.
