I use a lot of alternatives to complement doctor's remedies for all sorts of things. The G.P. approves readily as long as I'm sensible. They seem to work as doc said he hadn't seen me in surgery for ages, when I finally went for something. My favourite is aromatherapy massage as therapist uses what oils I need at the time, but incorporates sports massage, reiki, Indian head massage into it at the time as she is trained in all of these.
Tell your G,P. what you use. A good one will try to work with you.

Jayney, so glad you're feeling better. My GP is also a qualified homeopath and the other doctors in the practice all use her 'alternative' advice to avoid prescribing drugs as much as possible.
