leeds to edinburgh
      #499161 - 02/11/2009 21:17

urgh! have just posted in looks by mistake!

can anyone help me with the best way to get from Leeds to Edinburgh? we have just come back from scotland but ran out of time to visit. Flight prices were stupid, but is it worth getting the train rather than driving?

HELP

Amanda

Hi

Funnily enough I am on my way down to leeds next weekend from edinburgh. The cost return for me is £76 and something pence. Car would be cheaper but the parking and getting around Edinburgh is a total nightmare. Get the train to Waverly Train Station, it's slap bang in the middle of the main shopping street 'Prince's Street'. Bring warm clothes and a brolly!! Hope you get here and have a great time!

Hi
I have done the leeds to edinburgh on the train and it is great. the scenery once you get to Berwick on Tweed to edinburgh is amazing as the track follows the coast. its a great way to get there and very quick
Have a brill time
