Southampton Winchester Basingstoke Bournmouth Sunday Lunch Walk 8 Nov
      #497711 - 31/10/2009 16:45

Hi everyone,

I have found a gravel walk through the New Forest for our next walk as it is predicted a very wet week but Lovely on the Sunday hopefully!!!

We are meeting at The Happy Cheese, Ashurst SO40 7AR

http://www.thehappycheese.co.uk/

We will meet outside "The Happy Cheese" at 11am on Sunday 8th November.

As we are planning on having lunch at the pub we can use their free pub carparks or if they should be full a public carpark is right next to the pub.

http://www.multimap.com/maps/?zoom=16&countryCode=GB&qs=SO407AR

We are still keeping to the original purpose of the walks which is to find the best Sunday Lunch in the area and the pre-lunch walk justifies the delicious feast afterwards.

"The Happy Cheese" at Ashurst is the gateway to the New Forest and is famous for its pies although a traditional lunch menu is also available and the food comes heartily recommended".

Everyone is welcome, please join us, we don't go on a mamouth route march - its just a pleasant stroll about 3 miles this one.

It will probably be muddy in places so please wear suitable footwear and bring a change of shoes for going into the pub after.

Lots of laughs and chit chat with a great lunch at the end of it

Just post on the Forum that you are interested and I will pm you with more details etc.

Looking forward to seeing everyone both old and new faces

We have been so lucky with the weather so far this year for our walks lets hope this is another sunny one.

Gilley x

Hi Gill

Please count me in! Enjoyed last week so it would be good to meet up again. Don't know if anyone is coming from the Bournemouth/Ferndown area but if so perhaps we could travel together.

Look forward to seeing you, Caroline
