KitchenAid
      #496873 - 30/10/2009 13:15

So excited today as I have just ordered a purple KitchenAid with free spare bowl and cook book. I decided to treat myself with tax rebate that is due. Can't wait for it to be delivered.

I have a black kitchenaid mixer - no spare bowl though which I must remedy - they are fab, i'm sure you will enjoy yours as much i enjoy mine. i have the blender as well and was holding out for the food processor, but that idea has been vetoed this year as they are to expensive and apparently "I don't need one!"

Have fun

My OH bought himself one as he had coveted it for a long time. He uses his a lot for bread making. Ours is a cream one to match the kitchen and I must admit well worth the money.

We had a KitchenAid food processor for 15 years. You will love yours.

Ours was fab; however, I dropped the bowl a couple of times and then dropped the motor (ouch). The plastic cracked and looked horrible although it still worked OK. I didn't like the look of it, tried to get a spare bowl but no luck so I've bought a Magimix 5200 as a replacement. I know that it's easier to get spares for that brand.

Hi Maria, sorry to hear about the demise of your poor KA but it did do a good job working for 15yrs. Hope Magimix stays on the work surface and doesn't do any wandering!
