How long does it take for these flu symptoms to go??
      #496467 - 29/10/2009 19:01

For any-one out there who has had this old flu-bug going around. How long did it take for you to feel better. My OH is not a good patient but I thought by now the cough would have eased ie 8 days but he is still coughing a lot through the night. Also feeling very tired and lethargic. He is only 51 and healthy. Hope to hear from you.

Hello aec My son and I both had the swine flu I was a full month in the house,I was left the same way lethargic and tired and too weak to do anything,if your husband hasn't been to see his G P yet it would be worthwhile getting him to see
him,as it could probably be a virus he has picked up,but the swine flu started on us with a bad cough and very sore throat
you don't want to take any chances with that.
Hope he is feeling better soon
Give him lots of T L C

Ace I would contact your GP, my son, daughter and I had it, and to be honest by the 2nd tablet was feeling a bit better...

put a rolled up towel uinder him at night to help with the coughing.....

oh had a chest infection this time last year, a lot of night coughing, it involved 4 lots of antiboitics and stuff and it took nearly 3 months to clear.......

My OH has had this bug. Three weeks and he is still coughing. He did say this morning that he felt a lot better. I wondered if that was because I was keeping on to him to go to the doc's for some antib's.

Has anybody been to the doc. with this. He says it is something silly.
