Twitter...AAARRRGGGHHHHHH!

I read W&H cos I like it.

I refuse to be a TWIT just to give W&H cheap publicity. And how do I know the other TWITS are real people and not just employees or imaginary readers?

Sorry for seeming stroppy, but....

- and while we're having a little moan, I would like to see fewer of these "sticky" topics at the top of the posts list. I can't believe they are all entirely necessary.

Thank you Lyndsay.

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

spent last few days at computer based conference where everyone was twittering (tweeting)...felt like I was the nerd! It seem to devour all their time....have signed up to twitter but really not sure how to do this...a little afraid to reveal too much...but not sure if you get on if you don't!

My best friend persuaded me to become a Facebook member (or whatever it is you do!). This was when it first became popular a few years back - I ended up with about 20 friends, only 3 of whom I actually knew! One was my best friend and the other two were her son and daughter! Am now no longer in it. Can see why it's popular with younger people but I felt a bit uncomfortable with the fact that almost anyone could log on and get some of my personal details. Don't entirely trust it either after all the bad things in the news lately re paedos etc, trashing of peoples' houses when their kids advertise parties on their Facebook page etc.

I prefer to e-mail. phone or actually meet people face to face!
