Presidents wife!

Very surprised to see The First Lady on the front cover of W&H when it popped through the letter box. I can't believe they managed to get her. Well done to whoever pulled that off!

The article doesn't read quite right does it, or is it me?

Seams as though the White House sends out a list of statements that the First Lady has said, and W&H tried to invent some questions to go with them.

Probably just me, skim reading.

A very impressive cover with Michelle Obama. Goodness that woman is so photogenic. I agree with the others - how did W&H pull it off? Spill!

Great lady and role model for all us middle aged women.

I have to agree with Loo, I cannot put my figure on what is wrong.

Reading the article it just sounds strange.

I looked up the article and read some of it and which is shown on the magazine part of this W&H site here.

So I assume it is the same article that also appears in the Woman and Home magazine. Click on this link to the W&H magazine web article http://www.womanandhome.com/articles/tra...elle-obama.html

I read and noticed that the one on this web site is by Nancy Gibbs and Michael Scherer and almost that the same article was on the TIMEcnn site titled
The Meaning of Michelle Obama and which appaered back in May of this year!

So your feelings Bookgirl and Loo of it coming across odd and a bit false and re invented may well be partly if not wholely true.
Quote 'Cameras with lenses that can count her pores from three states away are trained on her around the clock'

huffingtonpost online said
"Michelle Obama recently spoke with Time Magazine's Michael Scherer and Nancy Gibbs about her role in the White House. The First Lady described how she hopes to inspire and empower young girls, and the huge influence that positive female role models -- such as her mother -- had on her growing up."

Having not read any of the other articles, I found the one in W&H quite interesting, but there were bits that made me think twice. Still haven't made my mind up about her.
