I would not class that as prudish at all Mocha just very weird and as you say open to abuse in India. Why would anyone want to use these channels to gain a child for themselves. There are plenty of babies/children out there already who need loving homes.

Yes I think I am prudish, I hate to hear other people brag about their sexual exploits, I previously worked in team where 4/5 of them where sex buddies, no ties just available for sex whenever they felt like it, I cringed listening to them.

No, I am not prudish in the way that you define it Cupcake.

However, I dont like explicit talk about sex, as someone else said, it makes me more than uncomfortable.

I am fairly broadminded about most things, such as the lifestyles of other people - not anything to do with me, live and let live!!

Not sure how the gay partnership/anonymous donor egg, etc fits here mochatosh...............mmmmmmm......first reaction is no, especially how it is being done, but normally dont have a big problem with this. June

I don't really feel that I defined prudishness June!!!
I just gave a very random example. As I DID say I'm very much live and let live.

As for the explicit sex talk....doesn't this come across as more pathetic than anything? It wouldn't bother me as such....I would just think grow up!

I think one person's idea of what's prudish is another's idea of finding certain behaviour inappropriate or unappealing.

Years ago, a few local mums were going to see a male stripper .. that's not my idea of a good night out so I turned down the offer to go. Is that prudish? Some people might think so. I heard all about it though .. apparently he crawled along the table dangling his bits into their drinks!! Even more sure now that giving it a miss was the right decision ...

I am can be narrow minded although I try not to be. I am not prudish although somethings can make me cringe such as one of my younger brother's and his new partner kissing etc at the lunch table when all the rest of us are there - that does make me squirm and I have been known to say to my brother to go and get a room.

As for being shockable - nothing shocks me at all. I was the Supervisor in my local Ann Summers shop and I also had a friend who was a lap dancer - so nothing shocks me at all anymore. Although I can get sickened very easily by things that i see or hear.
