Hello,
Just being curious really. Has anyone tried Alli? How was it ? I have heard nothing but bad things about it so just wondered if anyone had taken the plunge.

Hiya Kate

I got told by my local Lloyds pharmacy that sell alli the following information:

1. Your bmi has to be above a certain level before you can be sold it - I think they said BMI 28 or something like that.
2. You have to be on a virtually fat free diet.
3. Put it this way if you take Alli and you then eat a burger - you will not get to the toilet in time as the fat is flushed out of your system very fast.
4. If you are eligible to take Alli - stay away from fatty foods!!!
5. Take medical advice before you take it.

Like you, all I have heard is bad things about Alli - it has been sold in America for years and it does apparently work - as long as you follow the very very strict guidelines.

Its GHASTLY! I'm overweight and was given it by the Dr a few years ago.
The fluid that comes from you bottom (sorry but you asked) is BRIGHT orange and SMELLIE. I kept to a low fat diet and even got caught out and even had a public accident at work and had to dash home in the car.............Dont touch the stuff!! You asked!!!!!!!!!

My husband was given it by the Dr a few years ago, went to the golf course, passed wind (as men do) and lo and behold all orangey brown on his beige trousers, what an utter embarrasment, also in the house mydaughter said to her stepdad you have all poo on the back of your trousers, hence from then he has never took it,the Dr never really explained anything, other than dont eat too much fatty food!!!!
Be warned if you take it Dont go out and good luck cause i think you will need it,oh and if you are a windy person watch out lol!
