Having Op at last!
      #414038 - 28/06/2009 07:05

Hi girls and i hope you are all ok on this beautiful summer morning. Having long needed Op tomorrow morning early, thanks for previous support. Daughter has decided to not get involved and wont be visiting me, she says shes going away the night i come home but this doesnt bother me so much anymore. I keep thinking of nice places i could visit when im well enough to walk properly again, and to play cricket with disabled son!I hope today goes well for everyone.xxx

Hi suejane
So glad your op is finally happening. Please, please take care when you get home and make sure you rest and gradually get back to normal.

Wishing you all the best and a speedy recovery.

That's wonderful to hear. Well, well done. Hope it all goes smoothly, and even if it doesn't (because life's like that....!), hope you get over the bumps and get well again ASAP.

And you've got lovely weather indeed to recuperate in. Remember to take it easy afterwards, and not undo all the good work by going back to 'normal workload' too quickly. When you have 'gynae stuff' done you can FEEL you are fine, but our insides do need to heal properly internally. Better to take a little extra now in recuperation, and heal completely, than rush things, and then have things going wrong again later, or more complicatons etc etc.

Just for once in your life, put YOURSELF FIRST!!!!!! You definitely deserve it.

All the best, Julie.

Fantastic news! So glad you've got the op done and dusted and out of the way, after all the palavar you had to go through to get it done finally. Great, great stuff.

Now you just have to ensure you convalesce properly, and dont try and get back to 'normal work levels' too soon. Remember, we have to heal on the inside as well as any visible scars etc etc.

Take good care of yourself, and so pleased you've finally been able to get this done. I'm sure you're hugely relieved, and deservedly so.

All the best - Julie.

I am taking it easy. I feel better than i have done for years. There is satisfaction with having this done, and i hope to get better overtime. I went to the hospital by myself and went through it by myself so i know i can.Take care all of you, and enjoy your week xx
