Blossom has posted on day 165 that she may have WINE flu.Should we be avoiding all wine or is it safe to drink champagne? Will it have a really bad effect on our MM efforts? I think I will go for a walk before it strikes me down.Everyone should move as much as they can before it gets to them. Now that I've taken the p***,I want to say I hope you feel better very soon Bloss and that it isn't Swine flu you've got.We need you back on form. Love Decxx

Hi dec - I think it is important to keep drinking to keep your immunity up and also to kill any germs. I am looking forward to eating in the garden this evening and savoring a glass of wine.
Seriously bloss, I hope you soon feel better there seem to be several 'fluey / cold type bugs around at the moment.

Well, just joined the 'gang' yesterday, and if you are suggesting that we should avoid wine, may have to leave it today!
No chance of 10000 steps today - only done....(looks at pedometer) - 4822 steps so far. But I do Pilates class on a Saturday morning, so not worrying too much about not making my target.
Off for a serious walk tomorrow (weather permitting), so will be on tomorrow bragging!

Dec ,I love the wine flu joke but hope Bloss will feel better soon. I will avoid the wine if I'm going walking otherwise I'd be doing wonky walking!! Foxie hope you can find a spot between the recent rainstorms to enjoy your drink outside. Gem welcome to MM, don't worry if you can't do lots of steps every day. I try to do pilates each day plus some of Dec's 10 minutes on whatever I have time for. Every little helps or that's what I tell myself. I am feeling cooler now after a crazy hailstone storm, so will enjoy a cup of tea now. Cecilia

I think I must have wine flu today too. I celebrated the fact it was Friday yesterday, and the bottle of Proscecco just seemed to evaporate! Hi Gem, glad to see you on here. I have been moving more today as I had the day to myself so went for a great walk in the park, dodging the raindrops.
