They are usually supplied with a razor blade scraper which gets rid of really burnt on stuff. Then Waitrose sell a Product called "Hob Brite" which brings it up really well.

I use two products, one for deep cleaning and the other is a spray for everyday 2 minute cleaning. The make is HG (Hagesan) and I buy it from a specialist shop. There is a website on the bottle www.HG.eu It is a Dutch firm and they do a whole range of cleaners for limescale etc as well.

Yes, Hob Brite works well for me too. You can get a cream version for heavier stains and moist wipes for regular cleaning.

The razor blade scraper is the same sort that you can get in DIY shops, for removing paint from the glass, after you have splodged it everywhere when doing the frames.

I use Hob Brite too. It is really easy to use and involves no scraping. I like to take the easy (or is that lazy ) option every time! My hob looks as good as new after several years.

Just bought a new ceramic hob after the last one just gave up.
I use CIF. It is really good and doesn't scratch the hob.
