Fake Tan Sprays
      #413570 - 26/06/2009 15:07

Has anyone used a spray fake tan? If so which is the best (I'm quite fair skinned) and how often does it have to be applied?

Articles I've read about them lead me to think they're really easy to use - is this true? Doesn't the stuff go all over the place though? We've recently had our bathroom done and all the walls and shower cubicle are tiled white. I shudder to think what would happen if I stained all the grout a nice shade of brown (wouldn't be the most popular missus on the planet!!)

Hi Snoopy
Just replied to your post but it disappeared. Will have another try. My skin is fair and I use Garnier Summer Body - sun kissed look. You put it on like a body lotion ( best to exfoliate first ) I would use it every few days but it depends how brown you want to be. most fake tans come off a bit on the towels so don't use your best ones.

If you are spraying it on - I would get it done professionally. Mine have always worked well. Otherwise use cream or something that won't fly about!

Hello there Snoopy, try Ambre Solaire for fair skin. Its in a Gold spray can.

Firstly shower and exfoliate, then apply body lotion, allow to sink in for at least half a hour.

Use gloves .leaving your hands untill last. Spray hands lightly rubbing backs together.

Ledt me know how you get on.

Have had a spray tan in a salon on a few occasions but have found the creams that you use like a body lotion the best for me. Have used most on sale in the supermarket....usually buy what ever is on offer! like the Johnsons and the dove my favorite is Buitz buin but that is usually more expensive......I think they are an absolute must for me as I cannot lie in the sun and love to look a bit tanned !
Good luck I usually apply in the evening and wear a cotton house coat......what an oldfashioned word!...LOL
and sit around most of the evening and have never found it then comes off on towells or sheets.....
xx
