This is my thought for today - as it's the thing I'm worst at. PMK talks about a scale of 1-10, where 1 is starving (literally) and 10 is bloated. I think I normally eat until about 8 on the scale, whereas 6 or 7 would be perfectly adequate - as pmk says,if you get hungry again, you can have something else to eat.
so that's my goal for today - stop a bit sooner - anyone want to join me?

Hi Chicky - I will join you. I too, struggle to stop eating when I'm full, especially when I'm really enjoying what I'm eating! I also struggle to eat consciously when I'm eating with some-one - far too busy chatting I expect. I have had no computer for over a week and have really missed all the posts! - I even missed the weigh- in and I had lost 2lbs!!!!!!! Have a lovely weekend eveyone Anne xxx

Well done on your weight loss Anne.I'm generally ok at stopping when I'm full but one thing I still do is snack out of habit rather than hunger.This is nearly always in the evening and it's usually ice cream and whilst I'm watching TV. I love ice cream! Decx

afternoon all, well done anne, I am bad at leaving sstuff on my plate today I will try , while I was in Holland last week I seemed to get into the groove!! and I too lost weight, wil try to keep it up

Chickadee and Ann I will join you too, I have trouble stopping usually talking to much. I will aim for a 7 !!

Hi chick...girls, Ive been sleeping nearly all day, but Im up now and starving....
I will join you all in stopping when Im pleasently satisfied, why do we eat too much and then regret it, you would think we would have learned by now wouldnt you...lol
Have a wonderful, "stopping when full weekend"...!!

Hi Ladies
Better late then never.
I too am guilty of eating too much then half an hour later feel so bloated and full.
I too will join you in eating more consciously and not read the paper / watch tv whilst eating
