It's hard work thinking of daily motivational posts so we need help...please!
I'm feeling pleased with myself because I've managed to stick to my self imposed regime of squats, arm exercises and sit ups each day this week.I think a mini routine is what I need .If I'm too ambitious in my aims I give up after a few days but if my mini routine slots into other routines I'm hoping it will become a habit. which will stick. Tomorrow I'm aiming to add gardening to my daily moving. It will do me and the garden good, so double result!

Hi Dec. Just lost the reply I made. My connection cut out!!!!!!! The posts that you and others write are excellent and keep me motivated.
Heard that a Mum of around 43 has had a stroke this week and it’s knocked her friends sideways. That’s a wake up call and should motivate us be keep active to stay fit and healthy!!
I’ve done one of my 10 minutes running around getting my sons room clean and ready for him this evening. He’s come to London for a concert and is staying for 2 nights. Just going to pick him up from the station now. We have no work on Friday so should be able to spend some time with him. Cecilia

Hi Dec I'm afraid I'm not in the right frame of mind to be motivational as I'm still feeling jet-lagged today and just plain tired after visiting England for two weeks and fitting way too much into our schedule. I have only managed 3300 steps so far today and my major physical activity was cleaning a bathroom after an overflowing toilet disaster - don't ask However I do really appreciate all the effort you put in to keeping this thread going and to motivating everyone. Perhaps in a day or two when I've caught up on my sleep I will be able to help you more. At least reading the posts keeps the idea of moving more firmly at the front of my mind even if the body doesn't always follow. chaddychick

Hi Chaddy,Cecillia and Chilla, good to hear from you. Hope you had a great time in UK Chaddy are you British or American.Sorry about your home coming welcome in the toilet department. Enjoy your time with your son ,Cecillia. Nice of you to pop in Chilla between your travels. I won't be on here much next week either as my sister and her OH are coming to stay with us so I'll be out and about with them every day and evening. It feels like I'm on holiday too when I'm "sharing" our area with visitors. Its now Day 165 so I'll have a little think about a thought for today. You have motivated me to post ladies, thanks!

Hi Dec I'm British, from Manchester, and one of the best evenings of my trip was meeting some of the other forummers near Manchester, organised by Thimble and including Blossom and Chilla. There was a tremendous atmosphere and I just wish there had been time to talk to everyone more. We certainly exercised our mouths and tongues that evening (and I walked home which was about 2-3 miles) chaddychick
