SOUTHAMPTON WINCHESTER BASINGSTOKE BOURNMOUTH NEW FOREST WALK 28TH JUN
      #409040 - 17/06/2009 11:11

Hi everyone,

The last time we attempted this Walk in the Forest, we were rained off - so keep your fingers crossed for sunshine.

We are still keeping to the original purpose of the walks which is to find the best Sunday Lunch in the Forest and the pre-lunch walk justifies the delicious feast afterwards.

This time we plan to meet at 11am on Sunday 28th June at The Station House Tearoom at Holmsley in the New Forest

http://www.newforesttearooms.co.uk/

Check out the above website for directions and delicous food and drink.

We plan to meet and park at the tearoom, then follow the walk from there along the old railway line circling back for a well deserved lunch at the tearooms.

Everyone is welcome, please join us, we don't go on a mamouth route march - its just a pleasant stroll (between 3-5 miles depending what we are in the mood for).

It will probably be muddy so please wear suitable footwear and bring a change of shoes

Lots of laughs and chit chat with a great lunch at the end of it

Just post on the Forum that you are interested and I will pm you with more details etc.

Looking forward to seeing everyone both old and new faces

Gilley x

Hi Gill

Lets hope we don't get rained off this time - I've heard the tearooms are excellent - makes the walk seem worthwhile!

See you then
