Edinburgh -walking buddies wanted
      #408061 - 15/06/2009 15:26

I work part-time from home (N.Edinburgh) so would like to meet up with anyone around in the day time who would be interested in walks of a few miles. I am a fit 50-something but have a dodgy knee so don't walk fast. I also have a dog so would be happy to meet other dog-walkers (as long as the dogs were prepared to be friends!).

I am 61, reasonably fit and although not into competitive sport, I love to walk

Hi,

I am just recovering from 5 months of chemotherapy and want now to get back to my previous fitness level so I can get back to work, and a bit of normality.I stay in Musselburgh but at the moment am free at various times in the day and enjoy walking.

Retirred 60 year old who does not feel her age. Would love to join small walking group in East Edinburgh or Musselburgh - nothing too strenuous but would like to stride out.

Since I started this thread I have been on holiday to Skye and managed to break a bone in my foot so now capable of a short hobble only until healed. But now we have 4 interested people how about we meet up somewhere for a coffee, discuss our abilities/interests/transport arrangements and arrange a couple of walks. How about Porto and Fi at Newhaven - halfway between me and Musselburgh. I am just about able to drive now. Can anyone make Thursday 16 July?
