Are you sure?
I think however nice grey hair looks, it's always ageing. Why do you want to grow it out..........have you thought of just going lighter?

My natural colour is mousey brown/grey. I colour it myself with L'Oreal Preference and it works a treat. I know I may be 62 but I really want to look stylish. I think with my beige blonde haircolour looks good. Even the hairdresser who cuts it every 5-6 weeks says she couldn't get it looking any nicer. When all is said and done - it's personal preference. Mousey brown/grey doesn't suit my personality one little bit.

Hello annyor! My friend is actually facing the same dilema. She is fed up with dying her hair and wants to go to her natural state of "grey" as it will be less hassle. Her hairdresser has suggested rather than change overnight, each time she colours her hair she will gradually go a shade lighter. This way it gives you a bit of time to get used to it.

There are times when I think maybe I'll just let my hair go grey until I see the grey stripe where my parting is, have tried different hairstyles but hair just seems to do what it wants and it's very fine. It might be alot of hassle but I think I'll continue to colour it, I may be 50 soon but I don't want to look it, lol!!

Hi Have recently retired but dont fancy grey one bit go to hairdressers regularly to keep roots in check might consider going lighter pos grey when I'm 70! It is expensive but it would depress me to be grey. However some ladies do look stunning. In France last year one "grey" lady looked amazing.

My goodness, have you thought about this
I use L'oreal Preference and I wouldn't dare not use it.
I cant think of anything worse than MY hair being grey.
