Debenhams Beauty club, anyone?
      #401032 - 02/06/2009 16:15

I was at the Clarins' counter, buying what I needed (yes, needed, not just lusted after) and the assistant said I could benefit from the Debenhams' Beauty Club card; so I said "Go on, then".

Got the card, got all the bits of paper, got the website details, got my "Reward ID number" . . . went through all the moves, as instructed on the "How to Activate your card" leaflet . . . and the d*** site has ground to a halt.

Anyone else been there, done that, had success or failure, know any tips . . . ? This site has my details (part of the registration process) but I can't even UNsubscribe.

Dont mention Debenhams to me! I ordered a dress and bra in their last sale, was told both were in stock and the money would be taken from my credit card. Next I heard was that the dress had been cancelled! When I contacted them to say I hadnt cancelled it I was told that it was out of stock after all but they had just got it in again at the higher price! I tried to order that to find it too was out of stock. Grrrr. When I contacted them to say that the bra hadnt arrived (they had said it had been despatched) I was told that it must have got lost but they hadnt any left. Cheecky sods just appear to want your money for a couple of weeks then tell you you cant get the goods. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
