Santa Ponsa, Majorca Help!
      #398648 - 28/05/2009 16:46

We are going away on holiday just after Christmas, so originally we weren't intending to go away in the summer. However, a few weeks ago it was wet and cold and with the memories of the last two british summers in my mind, I decided we needed a week away somewhere hot. So I booked a week in Santa Ponsa for my husband and I and two teenage children in July.
However now I am regretting it as I am worried that Santa Ponsa may be loud, brash and full of larger louts!
Has anyone been to Santa Ponsa? Any tips on places to go/avoid? I would welcome your comments.

Thanks

Carey

We went to Santa Ponsa a few years ago we did not know where we were going as it was a real cheapie, when we got to Majorca and they told us our hotel was in Santa Ponsa my friends wanted to go home staight away , to cut a long story short we went to the hotel it was amazing Hotel Bourgenvilla, rright at the top of santa Ponsa we found a lovely little beach in a cove ,most nights we went into town and really enjoyed it , got the bus into Palma and loved that too,
the lager louts must have been somewhere else !!!
You will enjoy your holiday the sun shines the wine is cheap and the food wonderful

I love Santa Ponsa. You donthave to go anywhere near the larger louts. Dont you get those everywhere these days.

I didn't experience them in Santa Ponsa I have to say

I went to Santa Ponsa in March this year, had a great time even though it rained. I to was thinking it would be loud but the younger crowd were based in Magaluf, so you have no worries.

Palma and Soller are also lovely to visit.

Have a wonderful time as I'm sure you will.

Thanks ladies you have reassured me! I suppose you are right Scarlets you can get lager louts at home now. Anyway hopefully it will be hot and sunny which is the main thing.
