Every one at W & H please help!!!!! In the Magazine and on the website you advertise this wonderful forum, which is only wonderful because of the ladies who are trying very hard to post on it.........BUT.....its becoming impossible to use, more often than not I can't get the site, when I do I frequently get a message that there is content on this site that causes the programme to close down then I lose the site totally?????? most of the time I have a white basic screen with no graphics and it is so slow moving from one place to another that I get the message that it's run out of time?? so I lose the site?????? I know I'm not alone in this and it's now been going on for weeks, I'm hanging on in here by my fingernails, I don't want to lose contact with these lovely ladies, they are moving in droves to alternative contact places..... Please acknowledge my post...Please make it OK it was 99% better before this 'New Look'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AND Part of this post is unreadable because the adverts are on top of it, WHY????

Seconded!! The forum has become so unstable that many people seem to have have been put off trying to post and those who are still trying are often unable to. Please help!

Fourthed!! I don't usually complain but just felt the need to write this in the hope that the more of us complain the more chance there is that someone will eventually do something as it appears this problem has been around for some time. I am fairly new here but am so frustrated with trying to find my way around due to all the problems mentioned above that most of the time I have just given up. I would like Woman & Home to explain why they have this forum but clearly don't want to spend any resources on sorting it out? As already said, they are very happy to use space in the mag telling everyone about the wonderful forum, but when us newbies get here what do we find? - lots of lovely friendly members who only stick with it because they have already made some really good friendships. New members won't bother. Silverfrog

I agree girls, all things noted are happening to me too. The site is a joke! It takes ages to log in and the pages change so slowly. I have just about given up. Please W & H throw us a lifeline before we all abandon ship.

I am very new to this forum too and agree completely with all the above. I have noticed various comments made in the last few days and what really surprises me is that there has been no obvious reply to so many complaints. Not very professional and not very sensible in these days when there is so much competition and it is so easy to move on. From what I have read these days, there is a vast group of ladies who benefit from this forum and make it what it is (fun, friendly and reliable) and no presence at all from an IT department.

Yes, me too! Very frustrating because I'm only at home and able to use it because I'm poorly and wanted cheering up and look what happens - very frustrating!!!!!

Got to add my backing to the above comments. Couldn't get on here for the last couple of nights. VERY VERY SLOW this afternoon, to the extent that this will be my last post this afternoon as I have better things to do than sit and wait for the screen to change.
New forumers will NOT hang around to see if things improve- they will assume that it is always like this and won't bother any more.
As was previously said the total lack of response from the forum administrators is just plain rude. If they know the forum is running slow they should add a post explaining the problem and likely time scale for it to be sorted not wait for forumers to add complaining posts which are then ignored.

Golly W&H team you still promote this forum in the magazine, but - truly, honestly - you have to accept it doesn't technically work. It's broken....... and that breaks the spirit of the forum too. You're not a cowboy outfit; if your resources can't work this out perhaps you need to get some experts in; it is solvable, even if drastic technical action/restart required - but surely it can't continue like this when you also promote it so strongly? We're not making this up; it doesn't work!! If this was a leading edge technical site I'd understand, but it's very standard and in today's market quite simple in what it’s trying to provide. If you want a W&H forum to exist, you surely must do whatever it takes (resource wise and financially) to resolve this performance problem - please? I fully support what you're trying to promote and build with this forum (many of us do; we love it) but not your response to these technical problems and the longevity of getting them resolved. Yours in anticipation (again!) Joff
