I thought Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates was the sidekick and Mr. Gil Favor played by Eric Fleming was the trail manager. My mum liked Wishbone - the cook!

He was indeed Loo: have to shamefacedly admit that one of my first 45 records was Rawhide by Frankie Laine... now tht is really sad!
How about Cheyenne Brodie and Will Hutchins as Tenderfoot, Laramie, Wagon Train. Where have all those great Saturday night westerns gone.

Loo,
You are of course correct, regardless of what position he held, still fancied him like mad.

Plasmo, I was just wondering why we'd never heard of Eric Fleming after Rawhide, so googled him, to discover that he died in 1966 at the age of 41.he drowned whilst filming in South America.

Marty Christian and Paul Layton both of New Seekers, sent Paul a birthday card with the verse Man cannot live on sex alone...he needs a partner!!. Imagine after all these years I still remember that..how sad am I? And I was only about 12 at the time!!. Marc Bolan, Donny Osmond, David Cassidy an David Bowie were also on my bedroom walls.

Ladies please don't laugh but as a very young girl I loved watching the film The King and I and had what I now realise was a crush on Yul Brynner As I got older my walls were adorned at about age 12 plus with Marc Bolan posters.

David Cassidy big time followed by a very sexy sultry David Essex and then Marti Pellow who I still fancy a little bit! Also dare I admit to this the Bay City Rollers, went to see them in concert with my short tartan pants and scarfs tied around my wrists.........

Wait for it girls.............Elvis..........sad aren't I. Also David Essex but my all time favourite was Barry Gibb.............. he had such a cute little but and such slim hips..............ooooooohhhhhhhhh Summer think I will join you for that lay down. I actually only starting Donny Osmond since his comeback in these last years and I have two dvd's of his and really like him now.
I use to "like" a lot of artists then as I was very much into my music. Mainly motown.

Little Jimmy Osmond
Then when I grew up, at 10 I loved David Essex and like chipmunk I adored Marti Pellow. Johnny Depp is my current squeeze.

Apparently, my first crush was Dickie Valentine - a singer in the 60s. I was only a nipper so I think my parents decided that.
But my own first crushes were Donny Osmond, David Cassidy and David Essex. I remember seeing David Essex in concert dressed in a white silk suit! He looked so handsome.

Mollymandy - snap! Dale Robertson in Wells Fargo [ I also had a thing for the bloke who played the lead in The Virginian - can't remember his name ]. I then moved on to George Best.

The lead guy in the virginian was James Drury, I remember my brother watched it every week.

Thank you Chippy - saves me from that awful moment in the middle of the night when you suddenly remember something you've been trying to think of all evening!

Mine was David cassidy with Alvin Stardust as a very close runner up. It was the way he looked at only me in the poster I had in my bedroom-or the black leather glove with his ring on the outside!!
