Book swap
      #298278 - 06/01/2009 10:39

Please pm me if you have a copy of Victoria Hislop's "The Island" that you'd like to swap with any of these:-
Donna Tartt-The Little Friend
Andrew Taylor-The American Boy
Joanne Harris- Chocolat/Five Quarters of an Orange

Hardback- would like to exchange Russell Brand's My Booky Wook for Dawn French's new book.

Why don't you try www.readitswapit.co.uk - you can list the books you have available to swap and ask if someone who has The Island will swap with you. There are currently 127 copies available for swapping so you could be lucky!! I've used it loads of times and it works really well

Thanks Sue, I've just registered- looks good!
Do you just contact one person at a time who's swapping the book you'd like, or a few at a time?
Thanks, redpoppy

Another option redpoppy is to buy/sell your old books on www.greenmetropolis.com

Glad it worked for you - i'm on my 99th swap! My husband moans because i never reduce the number of books i have! I usually just request one swap at a time otherwise you could end up with multiple copies
Sue
