I am very new to this and nervous but are there any coffee mornings in Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Bramhall areas (near Stockport) as feel this would be easier for starters than a meal with strangers :

Hi there, I know how you feel. I met up wiyh 2 ladies in Knutsford a month back. We didn't know each other, but it was fine. We decided to get a Supper Club going, and we have had a great response, and are having our first meal next week in Knutsford. You are very welcome to come, or I could meet you one day for coffee. I live in Warrington, so I am quiter near to your area, and know it quite well, especially John Lewis. If you are interested in the meal next week, just PM me, and I can send you more details. Jayne

Hi, I don't live near you all but as I live in Chester and visit John Lewis far too much I would love to meet up for a coffee there. I have met so many lovely people through this forum. Last year we had a one off meeting for coffee in Chester which was all ladies from different areas but we had such a good time we went for lunch. Assume you are going to the Manchester meet in February. Please let me know. Sue

hello ladies, I work but am lucky to have flexi-time, and have some hours in credit, so would be interested in joining you, and I am organising the Manchester meet so could give you all the info. Please let me know what time/day you are meeting.

Let me know when it is and I'll see if I'm not working or not. Any excuse for a pancake [sorry - crepe] at John Lewis!

Hi to everyone, How does the week of the 26th Jan or the following week seem to you? I would prefer not Tues or Thursday but if those days suit everyone else I can change the days I work. Shall we do coffee or lunch or both? It would be lovely to meet up before the Manchester meet and sadly I can't make the 15th January when Dizee & Patsy are entertaining DVcherry. Sue

John Lewis for coffee and possibly lunch on Monday 26th January would be really good (28th is hubbies birthday so maybe should do lunch with him!!!!!) so shall we make that a definite arrangement say 11.0 a.m. in the foyer between the two sets of doors. How do we recognise each other - do we all wear a red rose or do we carry our latest W&H mag???

I can't make 11am that day, but I could make it to join up with you, for about 12.30 onwards. However the following week I am on annual leave so would be able to do almost anytime during that week.

Hi, I would prefer the Monday 26th if Dizzee doesn't mind but happy to do first coffee at 11am & 2nd coffee at 12.30pm. If the supper clubs are anything to go by we will sit chatting until Dizzeeblonde joins us. Anyone else coming? Sue
