Hi Thee
I have a mental block as to when and where. My only excuse is that I did have a very busy christmas.I vaguely remember a venue in the newark area being mentioned but can't seem to drag it back into my sluggish brain...
If I suggest a few dates and we all post availability - I'm sure someone will remember the venue and if not we can choose another.

And now for the dates...
Which actually I forgot to put on the last post - I despair!
17th Jan / 24th Jan/ 7th Feb or 28th Feb are dates that I can make.
Looking forward to hearing from everybody.
X

I am a new member from Newark but I work full time & was wondering if anyone would be interested in evening meals?

We did try an evening but as we are from quite a wide area we found that Saturday lunch gets the best turnout.
That doesn't mean we can't try an eve again - especially in the summer months.
Do you work Saturdays Trix?

Hi Everyone,

As far as I remember Kay was going to suggest somewhere in Newark for Saturday lunch in January.
I am available 24th Jan or any Saturday in February so far.
Can do 17th Jan if in Nottingham as having haircut at 12p.m.
Looking forward to catching up with everyone very soon.
Angela

Morning everyone. I seem to remember that we discussed Farndon Boathouse as a few of you had been to Tom Browns & it's owned by the same people. It might be easier for the people travelling from Nottingham as it's that side of Newark & probably has parking. I'm quite happy to book it if everyone lets me have their availability, but I can't do Jan - sorry.

Let's make it 28th Feb at Farndon boathouse. That gives us time to get over the Christmas madness - and for me the madness of my son turning 18...
I don't mind booking, Shiraz. There are 4 of us already who can make this date so we can wait to hear from everyone else.
It will be good to catch up with everyones' Christmas news.

Hi,

I'm new & still learning so have only just picked up your message - sorry!

No, I only work Mon-Fri so Saturdays would be great for me.

I was busy envying people who could meet up during the week whilst I was at work, where lunch breaks are often rushed & involve gulping down food whilst continuing to work...

Would love to meet up soon!

Trix

Have booked Farndon Boathouse for 12.30 on 28th Feb.
I have started a new thread and will need definite responses from everybody who hasn't confirmed either on this thread, email or text.
The £5 deposit is a complication but not impossible. I can sort that out if everyone thinks it's a good idea to go ahead
